March Announcements (Prom, Talent Show, Terrific Tuesdays!)

It's March! Exciting things are coming your way! Please watch this video for more details!

Information at a glance:

- Terrific Tuesday starts on March 6th; check the Moodle front page regularly to see what you have to do each week to be entered into the drawing! Your name can be in it more than once depending on how many things you complete on the list!

- Talent Show has been canceled, but there will still be a VIRTUAL TALENT SHOW. Submit a video of your talent to Mrs. Mordecai (jmordecai@openhighschool.org) by March 12th. Your talent can be anything, from snowboarding, to dancing, to photography, etc...

- Prom is coming up! Click here to vote on this year's prom theme! Polls close on March 7th.

- Yearbook Surveys are posted on the Moodle front page (somewhere... keep scrollin'). Please take them!

- Yearbook Photos are needed; please upload your photos (that are related to OHSU) by doing the following:

1. Go to flickr.com
2. Log in; the username is OHSUyearbook2012, and the password is OHSUyearbook12.
3. Click "upload"
4. Pick your photos!
5. Upload them, and then make sure to add them to the appropriate "set". You'll see a drop down list of categories (activities, service, etc...)
6. Tag everyone in the picture, so we know who it is!

Lagoon

Lagoon Day!

Hey everyone!

We are looking forward to this year which promises to be fantastic!

If you haven't followed the SBOs on Twitter then check the sidebar for their information. If you have a facebook you can also join the OHSU group there as well for updates. In order to join that contact Jizelle Jurquina the Vice President (jizelle.jurquina@openhighschool.org) .

Lagoon Day is this Saturday, October 8, 2011

With an OHSU discount you can get in for $33.95 each for up to 8 people.

Come to the Teton Pavilion for pizza and games! We will be there at 12 pm.

Come to the pizza social and you will be entered for a drawing for some awesome gift cards, so be there!

Please RSVP ASAP here by October 6 in the evening.

If you do not have a discount ticket you can go and bring it up with Lagoon's will call. If you're having trouble there, Mrs. Lyons will have the discounts and you can call her when you get there!

**Important: When you're at Lagoon take pictures! Lots of pictures! Then send them to our Historian Rachel Shearer for the yearbook. We want to document everyone's adventures. =)

TEACHER APPRECIATION MONTH - We need you to help!!!

This week is officially teacher appreciation week. Instead of keeping it to one week, however, we're extending it to teacher appreciation month!

Also, at the CRTs we will ask you to participate in making a short little video for teacher appreciation...so be ready to give a nice comment of 30 seconds or less. A flip camera will be there for you to use. It can be a quick shout out to all your teachers or a short mention regarding one teacher or circumstance. If you are unable to do it there you can make one on your own and send it to  Ladanea@gmail.com
